If you’re seeking strategic SIMS expertise or would like a valuable opportunity for your SIMS users to talk to our consultants and share best practice, our floor walking service allows you to do this in just one day.
We also provide a full strategic review service, also known as a healthcheck, allowing you to ensure SIMS fully supports your school’s vision. Whatever your needs, SIMS Independent can tailor expert consultancy to meet your school’s requirements.
Our on-site training and consultancy includes:
- working with you to devise and implement your strategic aims using your school’s data
- enabling senior leaders to benefit from the data-rich environment of your school’s MIS
- delivering one-to-one and group training sessions at your school
- implementing new software and new features within SIMS
- training new members of staff or those who want to refresh their skills.
Our service involves SIMS consultants spending a day on-site with your staff, either individually or in groups, exploring how they can improve their use of SIMS to make the most effective use of the system. After our visit we'll provide your school with a one page audit containing an action plan and recommended training for your staff.
Strategic development planning
Our strategic development planning ensures that your use of SIMS fully supports your school objectives, underpinning your school development plan. After meeting you to gain a full understanding of your school plans, our skilled consultants spend time with key SIMS users, reviewing current processes, checking if functionality is underused or if there are any training requirements, .
A detailed report is then prepared highlighting where SIMS is used to maximum effect, areas where further gains could be made and offering guidance and advice on how to achieve this.
